I've recently just picked up some beats solo pro's I know they're already overpriced and everything but I got them for cheap so i'm not that fussed but just been wondering what are people's favourite/most used headphones?

- The solo pros have good sound quality but they hurt on your ears after a few hours of wearing them so planning on getting some 'sony wh-1000xm3' or 'bose quietcomfort' to replace them.

I've gone through my fair share of headphones. I can't stress this enough with audio, scrap what people tell you and just go listen to as many pairs as you possibly can and find the one's that you enjoy not the ones people tell you that you should enjoy.

With that said, I daily Crossfade LP2 but that's running through a DAC & Amp on a desktop. I wouldn't recommend something like this for commuting / out and about.

I currently have the Sony WH-1000x M3

Before that I had Beats Studio 3

and before that the Bose QC35 ii

The Sony's are the best overall, great comfort (Can listen to them for hours on end), they sound amazing with a broad range of different EQ / sound options and they have very good noise-cancelling with different options to allow for ambient sound

The Bose easily had the best noise-cancelling and the best comfort

The beats had good bass, fairly soft ear cushions but couldn't wear them for very long

I should start by saying my daily occupations are being an audio engineer and producer so sound is essentially what my life revolves around.

I've been through many pairs of headphones, including 5 pairs of beats ranging from the iBeats to Beats Pro. I've also used Bose, Sony's and Audio Technica; and most recently a pair of Sennheiser HD 4.40's.

Personally I have to say the Sennheiser's have been the best performing for me.
Considering they have a removable audio wire to give you the ability to run wireless Bluetooth which will range about 20-30 feet, as well fantastic comfort and sound quality I'd highly recommend them!

Best wishes.
