Fable 1 wasn't my favorite of the series but it is still very good and well worth trying out if you haven't already done so.


Honestly I thought Fable II was okay. Three was my fav!!

Significantly better. The problems with laptop is even when they use components that are similar to either a console or a computer, you don't have nearly as much room to fit that hardware in because they need room for a good battery, room for the cooling in them and then of course your screen. Obviously comparing a laptop to a PC for this is outlandish but console wise, consoles are able to save space by using a power brick to power them on. A laptop uses a battery and those things take up a good amount of space. So hardware has to have 'corners cut.' Example, I have the A15 gaming laptop as my main gaming laptop now. Thing has a Ryzen 4800H with a 2060 GPU and 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM. My secondary PC, is an i7 6600k with a 1070 GPU and 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM, and that computer still performs better than it on 1080p in all benchmarks/games -- with the exception of Gmod for whatever reason. Why does it run better? Cooling first of all allows it not to have to bottle neck and I have a full dedicated GPU where as the laptop is not a full fledged card, but instead a "mobile", same applies for the CPU. Consoles have the benefit of their hardware being designed specifically for that console, so that allows them to really get the most out of what they can offer.

So again, a gaming laptop that matches the specs of the Xbox Series X will perform at the same rate as the Series X, but there are other factors you will experience that will have the Series X pull ahead, heat being the biggest one because once computer hardware starts to get hot, they slow down/throttle so they don't overheat and die quicker and laptops get hot worse than a PC or console do (unless you try and make either have bad airflow.) That would warrant you for wanting to get a laptop with a significantly better spec sheet where it still is able to run at a decent temp, but even with throttled speeds, it matches or beats the Series X.

Same here, senpai. I don't even buy discs anymore. Saves space and makes for less clutter. I get it if you are a collector, but there doesn't seem to be a reason to own the physical copy anymore. Once you have a game downloaded, it tends to run better anyways than off of a disc. Looking forward to a potential digital version!
i know I seen somewhere that a company was planning on allowing the sale of pre-owned digital copies forget which it was I think it was steam, that'd be an interesting concept though.

Shame for GameStop tho lol.

That would be a cool feature, have a license transfer button or something along those lines.



They need to figure out weather they will be doing disc or not having two console options its pointless.

Thats why gamepass is so cool it allows u to go back and try older version of a game series. for example it allows people to try all the borderlands games!

My guess is because of how much there is coming out and hype in general, they didn't want to "overload" where Fable gets left behind by hype train from other games. I think if The Game Awards is still going on, that would be a perfect place to showcase the new game in further detail.


i agree they want fable to have its own light so they didnt wanna cram it with everything and share the hype.

$500 would be the best starting point honestly. All consoles sell at a loss profit, because they make up for it in games and subscriptions. The components used for both the Xbox and PlayStation have gotten cheaper to produce and since they're at a PC level now, it encourages users to have a console that can compete with PCs, so a price point of 500, hard to find a PC that will beat that currently. A year or, easily, but right now, that would be a perfect starting point for both consoles.


500$ still seems a little low i would say 500-750 is the range but 500$ seems unlikely.
