I think there are now decent laptops on the market for an honest price, so roasting someone over that would be quite rude and not very smart.

i myself use a gaming laptop and it works great for most recent games. Sure you might not play at 7500fps on ultra settings, but it works good enough so that you can enjoy your games.

See this link on amazon if you want to take a look. https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GF63-Thin-9SC-066-i7-9750H/dp/B07QF66YQB?ref_=ast_sto_dp

Are you dead set on a laptop? That budget could get you a really nice desktop rig man.

Nothing wrong with that brother. The Asus you picked out is one of the highest end gaming laptops available for under 2k. However I'm a big MSI guy because their displays tend to beat out the competiton, so I would be shooting myself in the foot if I didn't at least throw this overclockers.co.uk/msi-gl65-nvidi...b8-ms.html in there for you.
It uses DDR6 compared to 16GB of DDR4 so it might stay a little cooler. Plus the 120hz FHD display is probably very nice although its a couple inches smaller than the ASUS and the ASUS also uses 120hz FHD display. So splitting hairs there. And it comes it about 200 under budget

I paid $900 for one called the Nitro 5. It runs everything perfect. It is a decent laptop for its price. I would just do a quick google search on it.
