Is this hard drive in ur computer? - Yes
Does it have windows installed on it or is it an extra? - Extra
What's the reason for this are you losing files or? I literally have to download parts of Cod and other games every time I boot it up. I'm getting new hard drives in the mail but would like to at least be able to keep a back up

Before you do this back up and data you want to keep we will be wiping the hard drive.
Follow these steps:

1. Run command prompt as administrator using windows search option type in "command prompt" Or "cmd"

2. Command prompt will pull up
Type in the command line "diskpart"

3. Then type "list disk"

4. You must know ur disk number (which hard drive is causing trouble)
Type "select disk 2" that's if it's disk 2. If it's disk 1 then type "select disk 1"

5. Disk is now selected so type "clean" to wipe

6. Now type "Create Partition Primary"

7. Now we need to format so type "format fs=ntfs"

8. Now we need to assign a letter to the drive.
So just type "assign"

Boom done you just wiped and reformatted ur hdd in command prompt.

He said he didn't want to wipe it though.

I'd just use ccleaner or manually go through it

Sometimes,CCleaner can't work for users, something can not be cleaned completely on computer. In comparison.

I prefer Safewiper, which allows users to delete any data on Mac and Windows devices, including data on disks.
