So i haven't posted any work in years lol.
Recently got back into designing some stuff. Designed my girlfriend a CV template she can use. Pretty simple work, but it's better than the plain word document CV. https://i.imgur.com/i5L72eK.jpg Thoughts? hmu if you wanna purchase your own x |

Hey man, they look dope!
But as someone who employs people I'd like to give you some advice. Whilst these do look very good and are very creative; CV's are meant to make a bold statement. Think of it as a piece of academic work you'd hand in at college or university. If you presented it with imagery and colours the chances are you'd get it handed back to you or a very low grade. If I personally received a CV like this in my office, I wouldn't look at it twice. It's quite unprofessional; and the only people who would look twice at a CV like this would be a graphic design company. I'm by no means criticising your work as its very very good, but I thought I'd share with you what an employer would think. |

Wokze wrote For sure, I still use my written cv, I just have a designed one attached on the bottom. This makes sense haha! It is really cool to see a more graphic CV, and I really like the way yours is designed. I was wondering that too about if you still use the more "professional looking" written CVs. Thanks for sharing this. |
