Hey everybody - Hope your having a great day
I am excited as I have just purchased my equipment to start recording videos. I have a few programs on my computer. Audacity,Adobe Premier cc 2020 OBS & Filmora9 (Free Trial). I plan on using Audacity for the audio recording (Id use OBS for both - but with my mic it echos/messes up the audio sounds glitchy). I will be using OBS to record my screen. Im trying to get my internet right for being able to play multiplayer on Call of Duty - for some reason I can only play games online that I download from the Xbox One built-in store... weird. But my question then comes to this - Should I buy Filmora9 for a year for $50 (USD) or should I use Adobe Premier? All I want to do is simple videos obviously - as I am on a budget and only on a Windows 10 LAPTOP.. lmao Also - ANY advice on what I should do as far as editing or software downloads/shopping goes (FREE IS BETTER BUT YES I CAN SPEND) then PLEASE feel more then able to do so. I need and want all the tips, tricks & advice willing to be given. Thanks everybody |

Coming back to this thread a bit later. I wanted to give an update.
I now have a copy of Adobe Premier. In my opinion it feels like a complicated Flimora9. It looks good and from what I could get off research - i think it seems ok.. What do you guys think? Good choice? |

Adobe Premiere is probably my go to choice if I was editing YouTube videos.
Very simple once you get the hang of it. After Effects personally for me is more for the serious edits, like COD montages for example. |

I agree with what Kanna is saying about AE and Premiere Pro!
If you don't have a good way to get these for free or simply don't want to pay, I would strongly recommend Davinci Resolve. It is completely free and has many of the features that Premiere Pro and Sony Vegas have. I think it would be a good fit if you are just doing simple videos. EDIT: Saw you already bought Premiere Pro. It's definitely a good choice once you learn how to navigate through all its tools. |
