| I have an old hp compaq dc7700 that has seen better days i was wondering what I can do to improve it. |

Not really much you can upgrade, from what i've read its a core 2 duo based cpu.
I'd say most you could probably do is upgrade the ram and replace the HDD with an SSD if you haven't already done that. |
