Looking to switch from console to PC instead of getting a new gen console. I do not know much about PCs but i will be able to build it once it arrives.

My budget is £700 but i can spend up to £800 if a part will make a huge difference.
PC will be used for gaming mainly. I will be playing Apex, COD and Warzone.
Monitor/Peripherals are not needed as i will be using my BenQ 60hz Monitor and other stuff until the January sales.
No OS needed.
I am unsure if i will be overclocking it as i don't really know the difference xD

I am looking to buy the PC within a week as my xbox just broke so preferably no parts i will have to wait ages for to be in stock. I don't care about RGB and looks of the case really. I would like to be playing on 140+ FPS preferably while using "competitive graphics settings"

If you need any other information just PM me or reply here

This is the build i have put together but i am unsure how good it is. I found this video of someone using a similar build and it doesn't seem that bad? lol uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/m4ndqp

I did read the case isn't very "noob" friendly for building in does anyone know one a similar price that is?
Not sure about the CPU cooler as i have read i will need a better one then the stock one if i wish to overclock it.

I will buy a HDD separately that is why i only have the 500GB SSD. Is there anything else i will need?

EDIT: I was told this build is better then the previous one i made and better for my money

Any help would be appreciated.

This is what I would do probably;
PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor (£190.00 @ Currys PC World)
Motherboard: MSI B450 Gaming Plus MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard (£69.98 @ CCL Computers)
Memory: Patriot Viper Steel 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory (£56.97 @ CCL Computers)
Storage: Crucial P2 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (£47.99 @ Amazon UK)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB OC Video Card (£214.78 @ Amazon UK)
Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower Case (£69.99 @ AWD-IT)
Power Supply: SeaSonic S12III 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£50.47 @ Scan.co.uk)
Total: £700.18

I definitely wouldn't bother with Intel, especially not an i5-10400F.
Get the WD SSD instead if you want, and add whatever capacity 7200RPM HDD you want/need. Easy to add the HDD later when you have some more cash though.

Definitely don't buy an RX 5500XT. Not only does it not belong in a system of this budget, but a GTX 1650 Super would perform on par for less money.
The GTX 1660 Super slots right in the middle of a 5500XT and 5600XT in terms of performance, but is much closer to 5500XT pricing. The 1660 Super is a perfectly adequate GPU for 1080p60Hz and fits the budget quite well IMO.

If you were going to buy a 5600XT, do not buy the XFX Thicc 2, you're leaving performance on the table. It's easily 10% slower than a better 5600XT, so the Thicc 2 5600XT actually won't beat a 1660 Super by that much anyway, definitely not worth the extra 70 odd quid.

Get a 'fully unlocked' 5600XT if anything, so an XFX Thicc 3, Sapphire Pulse(not Pulse BE) or Powercolor Red Devil(not Red Dragon). It is worth keeping in mind though, that an RTX 2060 is around the same price and trades blows with a 5600XT, but has additional features like RTX and DLSS so a 2060 might be a better option at that point anyway depending on what you want exactly.

If you would rather get a £300ish GPU(either a 2060 or 'fully unlocked' 5600XT) instead of a 1660 Super, then I would just drop the R5 3600 to an R3 3100 so you can fit the better GPU within budget.

Thank you for the help i really appreciate it!

Just need to ask would it be fine to switch these out and not need anything extra as the others aren't in stock.

Case: amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B079K1W3K...&psc=1
GPU: overclockers.co.uk/msi-geforce-gt...5v-ms.html

EDIT: PC is now ordered.

Definitely not the case I would get. Airflow and quality isn't very good, but it's not the worst. It'll do the job, but there are plenty of better options.
The P400A I recommended is definitely the better option, but if you don't like the P400A then the alternatives I would look at would be the Cooler Master NR600 or Fractal Meshify C.

Yup, this will do fine. If it's the GTX 1660 Super you're getting, then any 1660 Super will do the job. 240 quid is a bit more than I'd like to pay for one, but if that's the only(or cheapest) one you like the look of that is in stock, then that's fine.

Just wanted to throw this out there, if the front panel of the case is removable I would take that off immediately. It may not be pretty but I'd argue you'd drop 4-6 degrees just by removing that and allowing more airflow into the case.
