Covid actually gave me a thing called Parosmia, which severely affects my sense of smell.

loss of smell (anosmia)
smelling things that are not there (phantosmia)
the smell of things to change (parosmia)

So basically, in March i had all the symtons of Covid, coughing, couldnt breath, and had no sense of smell.

Now for the last 8 months ive had parosmia, which is absolutely horrible. Instead of not being able to smell things, everything i do smell smells rotten, putrid, musty. So everyday its really shitty, freshly cooked food will smell rotten. toothpaste smells rotten. air fresher smells rotten. deodorant smells rotten.
It really is a hard to describe smell, but it literally makes you feel sick.
After some research, paromisa is a condition as a result of an upper respiratory infected (Covid) and can take several years or more to get back to normal.

Its sucks and everything smells like shit.

The whole year was a curse.. Being locked inside the home, stay suspicious about the next day and moment made the whole mentality negative and miserable

I used to be out hanging with people almost every night. Then, once Covid hit, I haven't gone out with anyone in about 9 months. I just can't risk being selfish and going out like plenty of others and risk getting the virus and spreading it to my family, especially my grandparents. My grandma has a heart condition and would not fare as well as the rest of us.

So, I picked up even more hours at work, and spend my free time chilling, doing schoolwork online, and gaming. Still virus free.
