HI!

Long story short I fully wiped the PC back to factory settings and re-installed Windows 10. I'm not good with PC's by the way. I noticed that my internet wasn't working, nor was the Ethernet port being detected even though its all connected. Secondly, only one of my two monitors are working and the GPU isn't being detected.

I have connected my phone to tether the internet to download drivers but most drivers don't download because of not meeting system requirements (Windows 10 not being fully updated I believe). So, lastly I check to see if there are any downloads in settings for windows and there are like 15. I get that they all need to be downloaded but its literally taking like 6 hours to download one thing.

Any suggestions on what could be the cause for this to happen and how I can fix it?
Main issue it the ethernet not picking up the cable so I can't connect to wired internet. This would be so beneficial in the download speed and hopefully I could get the main drivers that are required.

There are no issues with the cables and everything is plugged in.
I will rep for any help

Need your motherboard make & model first. You can go to their website once you know this, and download the driver from there. Surprised Windows hasn't picked any up.

Its an Asus Z370-A Prime motherboard. I've tried to download the drivers from their website but i'm just getting this message "Does not support this operating system WNT_10.0H_64" when trying to do the AsusSetup

Open up device manager and update the manually.

Device Manager -> Network Adapters -> Intel something. Make sure it's Gigabit network [Lan] nothing with wireless or virtual in it. Ignore anything else that doesn't have Intel in it.

Right click - > You should have either Update driver or install driver.

Browse my computer for drivers ->Browse to the Intel driver that you downloaded earlier.

Should work.

This is messed up.
I go to Network adapters and nothing is showing up beneath other than "Remote NDIS based internet sharing Device #2" which is my internet that I'm using from my phone

Also its worth mentioning that under "other devices" the "Ethernet controller" has a yellow icon beside to say its not working.

@Adam legend, thanks.
I've now got the internet working. I'm going to try and get the rest of the drivers sorted now. I think the internet was the main issue. At least I'm hoping. Thank you for your help
