CPU Motherboard RAM GPU Carry across storage, Powersupply if it's good and the case if you really wanted it. What budget are we working with? |

What parts would you suggest, I have a budget of around £450 at the moment but could be more over a slight longer time |

Unfortunately, it seems pretty impossible to get almost any GPU right now, at least for a reasonable price.
So, this is probably where I'd start for a CPU upgrade; PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor (£189.97 @ CCL Computers) Motherboard: MSI B450 Gaming Plus MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard (£69.99 @ Ebuyer) Memory: Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory (£62.98 @ Laptops Direct) Total: £322.94 and then, honestly, I'd probably just wait for an RTX 3050 or AMD equivalent. If you could manage to find a GTX 1660 Super in stock for around £220, that would be a pretty decent upgrade. That would put you over budget though. So if you wanted to save some money you could drop the CPU from the R5 to an R3 3100, which should be £100 but there's no stock anywhere right now. |
