It could be a number of things, the AV/HDMI (couldn't make out what you were using) cable could be busted or it could be the actual console/screen its self, I would try a new HDMI/AV cable to start with.

so no they arent buggy and dont melt down at all, you must have shit luck if that happened to you

Strangely, it's actually to do with the controller you're using, this happens when the Bluetooth signal becomes fragmented and discombobulated. I recommend using an official PlayStation 5 controller.

360's are old, i hate to say it but your best bet might be to either upgrade consoles or get another 360.

Take it to a repair shop. They will likely fix it for less than 50$.
