So I am looking to rebuild my PC. I am getting crazy bottle necking from my current CPU and MOBO (i5 6600k & z170 Kraft gaming) 3080 doesn't like it at all. Wanted additional advice on this build I'm currently looking at building.
Truthfully trying to to stay Corsair if I can because I would like to have a full RGB Rig if possible just because I like it lol. pcpartpicker.com/list/vpLZXb PS I have the rest like storage PSU that's kind of stuff |

So, what is the make and model of your PSU then?
What monitor(s) are you actually using with the system? In what exactly is your 6600k bottlenecking your RTX 3080? |

MyNameIsVest wrote at the moment only running 1080 plan on upgrading to 2k in the future I would definitely upgrade monitor asap, especially with an RTX 3080. MyNameIsVest wrote hop into a game and I getting 80frames in warzone with the 3080 on medium settings. So I am assuming that it's the mobo and the cpu. Run something like HWMonitor or MSI Afterburner overlay to see utilisation of your CPU in game. I would make sure the CPU is your bottleneck before spending the money. I would have thought a 6600k wouldn't bottleneck you that badly, but if you monitor it and the CPU is pinned at 100%, then it's safe to say that's your issue.
