So im trying to download a profile to my jtag but it keeps throwing an error at me (801540A9). Problem is I've gone to the account in browser and nothing has shown up. Dosent need verifying, Its not locked, its not a child account and ive done pretty much every other fix for it including deleting profile and eben clearing cache several hundred times and nothing. I think the problem might be that hes from the U.S and im from the UK but jm not too sure. If anyone could help id appreciate it alot

Hey I recognize that error code, is this the error where it downloads the profile and then you just have the spinning loading circle for ages? If so then it does load eventually it just takes a hell of a long time, you just have to leave it and eventually it will give you the remember password screen and allow you to sign in, hope this helps.

If it something else then just run me through what happens after entering account details.

Unfortunately not dude. Basically I go to download the profile and as soon as I go to save it to my hard drive it tells me there was a problem with the credentials and I have to go to account.xbox.com to fix it. And I went there and nothing happened. Just a massive pain

Do you have two step verification turned on? I know this can cause issues, if you do then you should have a 16 character code specifically for logging in on Xbox 360.

If it isn't anything to do with that might be worth changing the email/password.

Nah two step aint on and it isn't an account for me anyways I was doing an account for a friend for recoveries but for some odd reason it just kept throwing up that error and it was annoying me haha

In that case, your friend should be getting an email asking if it is him logging in, he will just need to confirm that it is and you should be good to try and recover the account again.
