What is your budget and currency?
What will you use the PC for?

Are you looking for 1080p?
Laptops are generally more expensive that a desktop computer for less power, information pertaining to what quality and use for it you have will help! Also are you getting a laptop for mobility?

Which CoD we talking about?

Are you going to be playing on the machine or just making the relevant mods for it?

honestly bro I'm not too sure, the budget would be around £1000, not too sure on what spec as just need it to mod call of duty cw, don't need to be mobile, just the cheaper option really bro, so laptop or pc

Honestly, if you're not using the PC for playing games, then with the current GPU market you are probably best off just running integrated graphics.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: Intel Core i5-10400 2.9 GHz 6-Core Processor (£154.97 @ CCL Computers)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Pure Rock Slim 35.14 CFM CPU Cooler (£24.66 @ Aria PC)
Motherboard: MSI MAG B460M MORTAR WIFI Micro ATX LGA1200 Motherboard (£104.33 @ CCL Computers)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 CL16 Memory (£67.98 @ Aria PC)
Storage: Kingston A2000 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (£49.98 @ Amazon UK)
Case: Deepcool MATREXX 30 MicroATX Mini Tower Case (£35.47 @ Scan.co.uk)
Power Supply: be quiet! System Power 9 400 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£42.94 @ Box Limited)
Monitor: LG 27UL500-W 27.0" 3840x2160 60 Hz Monitor (£268.99 @ Currys PC World Business)
Total: £749.32

4k monitor is literally just in there because the budget is a grand. You can easily save money by dropping the 4k monitor and grabbing a 1080p monitor for 100 quid.

You could also drop the CPU cooler and just use the stock Intel one if you want to save money. Can save £50 by swapping the i5-10400 for an i3-10100. You could get away with a cheaper motherboard if you wanted too.
