Is anyone else tired of seeing this over saturated cold war trend? Everyone is using the same tools doing the same lobbies. Prices are as low as $5 and into the hundreds. Some are free. But it's ALL THE SAME F'CKING THING. What has TTG come to? 7-8 years ago when Cod4 and MW2 were the main games to mod, people were creative af and were always working on new menus that did absolutely crazy shit. You could customize the games inside and out. What happened?! Does no one have the balls to make something crazy? The money will speak for itself if someone makes something new, first. Or is it "impossible" to do more on that game?

We have smart ass people who code on here that used to do crazy shit. Now everything is the same and it's way over saturated in my opinion. I can't code for shit so I'm calling everyone out who can actually make that shit lmao. Let's see it. I can't be alone in this

Can I be blunt? Ok thanks

If everyone had the same mindset as you, then we'd be in the same situation that we're in now. Who would have thought. Instead of shouting into a void wasting energy on trying to get people to make new stuff just so your lazy ass can make a profit, go learn and go make a bigger profit.

It's unsafe to develop tools for these games. The publisher will sue if you're within reach.

Well if you want to compare today's "markets" to the cod MW2 lobby days I can explain why things are so different.

Back in those days most of those services/lobbies were run on the Xbox 360, all you needed to do back then was watch a YouTube video and own a soldering iron and you could do some really cool stuff.

Flash forward to today, where companies have been watching us make and create these exploits for their games, they have introduced crazy new encryption on consoles, intense AntiCheats in PC games.

Back then if you had a bit of knowledge you could whip up an esp/aimbot in an afternoon and call it a day. That's not the case anymore, people can still do that, but if they don't have the knowledge to reverse and bypass a games anticheat then their ability to make a cool tool/menu is absolutely useless because it can't be used.

The reason you see the cod market flooded with people using about 1-5 different tools is because that's the amount of people who have the knowledge to create something of that nature and make it safe and useable, with the added risk of being sued as r00t mentioned that many don't want to take. Your knowledge needs to be expensive both in bypassing an anticheat and knowing how to protect yourself legally.

Curious as to how legality comes into play. Why was no one being sued back in mw2? (Could've happend I just never head of it) But why is it such a huge deal now compared to back then? And what exactly are they being sued for?

Well Call of Duty is getting more copy and paste every year and that's has do to Activision being cheap! Honestly I don't think it won't change until they listen to their true fans. It's really annoying I know but it is what it is I guess just have hope even if takes a really long time!
