PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: Intel Core i5-10400 2.9 GHz 6-Core Processor ($159.99 @ B&H)
Motherboard: Asus PRIME B460M-A Micro ATX LGA1200 Motherboard ($98.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2400 CL16 Memory ($61.99 @ Corsair)
Storage: ADATA XPG SX6000 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($99.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Seagate EXOS Enterprise 4 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($89.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($44.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Corsair CX (2017) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($44.94 @ Newegg)
Wireless Network Adapter: TP-Link Archer TX50E PCIe x1 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi Adapter ($44.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $645.87

Case comes with a single fan in the rear as exhaust so you might want to add a case fan or 2. If you do, just grab a 140mm fan(or 2) and put it/them in the front as intake.

I'd just save the $75 and get a 10400 instead of the 10600, it's not worth the price difference especially in a basic office system.
Similar story for RAM, speed is unlikely to make a difference if it's just being used for basic office tasks. Capacity is likely more important than speed.

Better SSD+HDD. Better, newer case as well. The Fractal Core 1000 isn't terrible, but it's over-priced at $45 and it's an old, cheap case so don't expect too much from it if that's what you end up getting.

Oh, and don't pay $100 for Windows. Just use it for free, especially for a system like this, I can't see much need to change the desktop background on an office PC lol.
