EG6 wrote First cars tend to be more just about continuing to learn and gaining more experience on the road. Most people do tend to enjoy their first car, I however hated mine. For a hatchback it had horrible visibility, was always having to lean to see because of how the a pillar was positioned. Was mainly due to the fact I'm 6'3" This sounds about right. I think it is the blackbox that just kills any fun in driving a first car for me. Plus all Vauxhalls that are not VXR's are not the greatest cars. Out of curiosity, what do you drive now? |

The first car I drove for about 2 years was an Audi A4 from 2001. My first own car was a Golf V GT Sport with 175 hp (2008) which I modified to get about 220 hp. I drove this car for about 4 years until I bought a Renault Megane RS last year which I also use for the race track.
I was very happy with all the cars. The first own car in my case the Golf will always remain something special I think. |
