Have more than a few cards? You need these.
PCIE risers: parallelminer.com/product/ithoo-u...-24-cable/ These are the ones you want. Cheap server power supply bundles with cables: parallelminer.com/product/hp-1200...ining-psu/ Buy the bundle with 16 cables. Cheapest way to get PCIE power cables. You want the 1200w unit because you need to be at ~50% load. For example, my 600w rig draws 50w more and makes twice as much noise on a 750w unit than this 1200w. For more wattage on 110v, I suggest using multiple server PSUs with chain sync breakout boards. Triple PCIE power splitter: parallelminer.com/product/18awg-p...pin-cable/ Run only one cable for most cards. Cheaper than three more cables. PSU module: parallelminer.com/product/160watt...er-supply/ Eliminates need for regular PC power supply. No need for cases or special racks. Use a wire shelf like this with cardboard under the motherboard. target.com/p/3-tier-wire-shelf-ma...A-53330150 Mining operating systems: hiveos.farm minerstat.com raveos.com One free worker each. |

CPU Mining
Can be worthwhile on newer CPUs. Check your CPU's RandomX performance: xmrig.com/benchmark cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/xmr Get a Monero (XMR) wallet getmonero.org/downloads/ I like the GUI wallet. Save your password and backup the files. Pool Monero Ocean pays more than normal pools by mining coins other than XMR. moneroocean.stream - Enter your wallet address Miner Use MoneroOcean's XMRig fork: github.com/MoneroOcean/xmrig/releases Set it up Find "pools" in config.json and edit these values: "url": "gulf.moneroocean.stream:20128",
Right-click xmrig.exe, click Properties, select the Compatibility tab, and check Run this program as an administrator". Reboot after first run. |

Liquidity Mining: First Steps
If you have don't have a suitable hardware mining setup there's "liquidity mining", which anyone with Google Chrome installed can do. Liquidity mining doesn't allocate computing power, rather it's the process of delegating cryptocurrency to a pool to assure of a trading pair's fluidity. On the flip-side, the liquidity that you're providing is being used (Dependent on the exact pool chosen) by decentralized exchanges [DEXs], Ethereum-built protocols, and collective market makers 24/7. In return, pools distribute 'incentives' for people to provide liquidity for their trading pair through the form of bonus Ether. The pool's "yield"/"reward" depends on the number of successful trading or protocol fees that the pool acquired relative to the share of the liquidity you provided in said pool. The cryptocurrency that you allocate is redeemable 24/7 - meaning you can stop 'mining' liquidity at any time. This can also be used in combination with Ethereum GPU mining to compound earned Ether by allocating earned GPU-mined Ether to liquidity pools instead of not putting your passive Ether to work. To start, you first need to purchase Ether and have it accessible via an Ethereum address. Coinbase is probably the easiest, safest, and quickest way to compliantly buy Ether in most jurisdictions. Next, you'll need to open up Google Chrome, Brave, or Opera: Install MetaMask & Create a Wallet metamask.io/ MetaMask is an extension that connects and 'prettifies' interacting with the Ethereum blockchain through an in-browser extension and a simple UI. You'll need this to mine liquidity. Now with MetaMask installed, you should see an orange fox icon at the top right of your browser - click it and select 'Create New Account' --> follow the onscreen instructions until prompted with your seed phrase, which will be a series of unique words on the screen like so: https://i.imgur.com/5V4yrDQ.png IMPORTANT: Write down these words (In order) on a piece of paper and keep it in a safe place; don't share this with anyone, ever. If you lose your wallet, you can restore the wallet and all of its value on any other computer or device running MetaMask but ONLY with this private seed. Once written down, press continue and you'll be given something like this if done correctly: https://i.imgur.com/jeIhOfF.png Adding Your Ether for Mining All of your mining and your Ether is handled directly through your MetaMask wallet. In liquidity mining, you're strengthening how fluid a specific cryptocurrency trading pair will be depending on how much liquidity you add relative to the total pool mine and awarded that % of said pool's yield. Assuming you bought Ether via Coinbase like above, next you'll need to send your Ether from your Ethereum wallet on Coinbase to your MetaMask wallet before mining anything. To do this, open MetaMask and highlight the account title at the top-middle to copy your MetaMask wallet address to your clipboard like so: https://i.imgur.com/OUJw34z.png Next, go back to Coinbase, go to your Ethereum wallet, and click on 'Send' --> Then in the field where it says "Recipient/Address", paste your MetaMask address. It should start with a "0x..." Then hit send. The Ether will take a few minutes to confirm on the Ethereum blockchain (Visible via the transaction's TX ID) and will then be settled in your MetaMask account & ready to mine. https://i.imgur.com/9bBsW3O.png Part 2 coming soon... Not financial advice, not an offering, do your own due diligence & understand the regulations or requirements regarding crypto in your jurisdiction always. |

Liquidity Mining: Part 2
Connecting to an Aggregator For beginners, it'll be easiest to start liquidity mining through using an aggregator. These are platforms that connect to multiple decentralized exchanges, liquidity pools, and more. Zerion is a good one. To start, connect using the "Connect Wallet" at the top right. Then, select MetaMask, and you'll be asked to unlock your MetaMask wallet. https://i.imgur.com/FtANqI9.png Supplying a Liquidity Pool For beginners, Uniswap's liquidity pools are a good start that returns consistent, competitive yields. In your Zerion portal, search for 'Uniswap'. Uniswap's DAI/ETH pool is one of the most popular choices. Find the pool then decide how much you want to allocate to mine (In ETH) the Uniswap DAI/ETH pool --> Then, select the "Supply" button. https://i.imgur.com/wRsY5sy.png Your transaction will then confirm on the Ethereum blockchain; once done, you'll be able to check your active liquidity mining performance from your home: https://i.imgur.com/PN89Gi1.png |

I have 4gb cards and 8gb cards. All make some profit after a certain point. Just pay you power bill. I'm on solar now. |
