Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5 6600
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060
Mobo: ASRock Z170 Extreme4
RAM: 8gb Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4

As the title says want to upgrade to get some better performance so was looking at maybe upgrading the graphics card to a 1660 or possibly a 3060 however I am not sure if it might be worth upgrading my CPU??

Any help appreciated.

Yeah I was thinking about either a CPU/GPU upgrade and then some more RAM as well.

Do you think the GTX 1660 is a worthwhile upgrade from the 1060 or should I attempt a 3060 or something?

Also, with the RAM does it need to be the same brand or clock speed or can it be anything?

My suggestion would be start by doubling your RAM - whatever you've got, buy another stick.

Then I'd hold out for a 3060 TI over a 3060 (for the price difference @ RRP).
