So I recently just built my new pc. I originally had a 3060 in it but i switched to a 2080ti.
Everytime I open Gears 5, my pc restarts. (Kernal Power 41) When I open up COD, it wont crash as long as I get into a game right away. If I wait in the lobby for a minute or 2 it will restart. On Escape from Tarkov, it randomly restarts, no givin time. I have installed all windows updates, disabled duplicate audio drivers, installed all GPU driver (express and manual). I went as far to replace my previous PSU (750W Bronze) to a (850W Gold 80+). I heard AMD's could be RAM heavy and I originally had 32 gigs in, but took the 2 RAM sticks out and replaced it with all new corsair 16gb x 4 sticks. Now have 64. Im super confused what I need to do to fix this problem. I also occured a newer problem trying to trouble shoot this. A PCI error. It says i cant update the drivers because it doesnt recognize the manufacture. Full Specs: GPU: RoG 2080Ti CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X RAM: 64GB (yes overkill i know im desperate to fix this) MOBO: X570 Phantom Gaming 4 WiFi 3 Case Fans 4TB HDD 960GB SSD 64 Bit Windows 10 And for disclosure, it doesnt blue screen, it just restarts, gives me my bios last update and goes back to my lock screen. It also doesnt happen when im just browsing the internet. Only when I open up a App. Doesnt crash when I play LoL or Among Us (I would freaking hope so, damn mobile game), I would be willing to pay like $20 for someones help (if it gets fixed). Please if anyone can help I would highly appreciate it. Thank you. |

Run DDU to completely remove GPU drivers, and then reinstall from scratch.
Where is the RTX 3060 that you had, and did you have any issues when you were using the 3060? Where did you get the 2080Ti from? |
