I currently have 2 and honestly they're still fun to turn on. i dont use them to make money (lobbies, accounts etc) but more so for nostalgia and to host for friends and such. As others have stated, id use it with the intent of fun for the most part.

This scene seems to be very opinionated but as some have said above if you want to have fun with some mod menus, RTE Tools, Homebrew, emulated games, or even developing then I still believe it's 100% worth it! People still go back and play on the original Xbox for fun, but if your intentions are to make money that's not going to happen. As for complexity? if you have common sense it's pretty easy now of days thanks to the scene aging pretty well with hella videos on youtube or even on this forum to help.

P.S. If you are going to buy an RGH look at Rodent_Modz if you are in the US!

As many mention above, its really up to you what you want to do with it.

For playing Xbox classic games, Xbox 360 games, etc. Yes i would buy one.

but for any other reasons like just do modded lobbies etc, modding in general, i would not recommend it then.
