So I was driving around my town & there's a 07 bmw 335i twin turbo for sale, asking $2,000 but it needs an alternator & battery.

Is it worth it? Iv never owned a bmw but I hear good & bad things like any car of course. But any added thoughts would be great!

Id probably not go near it. It says that is what it needs but it could potentially have a lot of other issues. Parts are expensive for bmw's. Depends on mileage as well.

BMW repairs and maintenance can quickly add up but they are very fun cars to own and drive. The generation you're looking at is one of my favorites in particular. I'd have the car checked out by an experienced mechanic before you purchase it. This will cost you a little money up front but could end up saving you thousands in repairs down the road. I hope this bit of advice helps.

I do not know the market at all but this is one of those deals that sound too good to be true to me. The cheapest 335I near me (and I just did a quick search mind you, didn't go into much detail lol) was $7k. If this thing only needs a battery and an alternator why is it so cheap?

130k miles all it needs is a battery and alternator for 2k is not a bad project car you could really transform it if you'd be interested in that but I'd say it's worth it
