so ive had my pc for a few weeks now and i havent had a problem with it, i knocked the power lead to the monitor and i now have screen tearing? maybe i had it earlier but i have no idea how to fix it anything i should look for thanks

Disconnect all the wires, Take the window off, make sure everything is tight, If it is reseed your graphics card, and try again.

Could be a dodgy display cable rather than a dodgy PSU lead. Replace the display cable and see if it rectifies the problem.
