Hi,
I am having an issue with a new PC build. The error is on the motherboard there is a red light indicating that there's something wrong with CPU and there's nothing showing on the monitor when loading up not even the MSI logo or bios. I have tried everything I can possibly think of and have even had a family friend who used to work in building PCs come out and try to fix it but he's not been able to figure out the cause.

Here is a breakdown of the components
Kolink Void RGB Midi Tower Case
Corsair RM Series RM650 650W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply
    AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Six Core 4.6GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail
Gigabyte Aorus GeForce RTX 3060Ti Elite V2 LHR 8GB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card
    Samsung 980 1TB M.2 2280 PCI-e 3.0 NVMe Solid State Drive
MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk (AMD AM4) B550 ATX Motherboard
    Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit

Here is everything I've tried so far
    Unplug CPU fan and replug
    Made sure nothing is loose
Unplug CPU fan and boot up without it in
Removed CPU fan and checked CPU to ensure it's in correctly
Tried running without graphics card in
Removed battery on mobo and place back in
Moved ram around and tried to run with 1 ram, different placement
    Flash bios
Ensure everything on the mobo is installed correctly

Still, nothing is showing up on the screen and the CPU is red still on motherboard. This is my first PC build and I've had friends who have built several pcs, IT technician friends and even an ex-pc builder guy try to figure it out to no avail. The latter left bc it was late but his idea was that bringing older ram and installing that to boot it up then downloading the latest version once it's online and place ram in. But to my understanding, the flash bios guide I followed should have addressed that as I popped into a USB the latest mobo update. I also checked to make sure the USBs are working and they are... would really appreciate some help as I'm lost for ideas and feeling hopeless I am new to all this so bear with me if I'm not quick on catching on

When my computer was having an issue and was not showing up on my monitor but it would turn on, I took out the CMOS battery on the motherboard and put it back in and that fixed it. Not sure if it is the same problem, but I figured i'd tell you about it since you said you are not getting anything displayed.

That video may help not to sure. It's not the same one I watched but kinda gets straight to the point. I did not change the battery just took it out and put it back in. Hope this helps.

EDIT: This may not be the problem, because I did not notice any light indicating my CPU was having a problem, just wanted to give my 2cents lol. Good luck!

I've chased this problem before , in the end i had a dead cpu i bought brand new from amazon and had to send it back for a replacement.

the only true way to tell would be to have a friend with a compatible mobo or a spare you can try the cpu in that has been tested and confirmed working with another cpu. and then try yours in there , see if it works and see if your cpu is dead. If it's working , then vice versa try a friends or spare compatible cpu in your mobo. Try to narrow down the problem

new to the platform and I think I dmed replies instead of replying to them publicly.
The battery is one I already tried and sadly didn't work.
Have not yet checked CPU on another pc/motherboard will have to find a friend who has a compatible one willing to let me take it apart

I received a dead 5600X and didn't want to believe it because CPU failure rate is usually very low. It's the only bad part I've had in dozens of PC builds.

You've tried enough. Send it back.
