I looked for this thread to see what the takes were. I've not played CoD much since WW2 but gave the Vanguard beta a go.

My biggest issue with the newer CoDs is the movement feels awful but once I switched off all the junk like Camera movement, Motion blur and upped the FOV to name a few things Vanguard feels nice at least to a lapsed player.

I've just been playing search and destroy and it's been fun the roof top map is really well done.

Am I going to buy it? highly doubt it but its not a bad game.

Visually it feels like an improved version of WW2 and MW19 fused as one. The Beta maps aren't that dynamic and I've ran into quite a few bugs in the scenery (Random visual anomaly's) as expected. The controls for the beta are rather exhausting. For instance it's required to hard press the trigger to shoot on console, instead of a light press of the trigger to chain bullets with ease. This has all the ability to shape up and improve the brand, multiplayer wise in the final release. The Zombie's will most likely be where I'm most interested in playing upon release.

It's Call of Duty. Nothing has changed. Nothing has gotten better. The beta feels like every new cod from the last six years. Feels like they just went back in time tbh

I enjoy it so far.

I went into it expecting that it was going to be terrible because I hated WWII, but I am actually thoroughly enjoying it so far, they will just need to balance the guns before release.

Yeah Cold War was the first COD I enjoyed the zombies more than multiplayer, it will be interesting for sure

feels like a recycled content from older cods but i like how it feels feels more like mw 2019 but something about it I just don't like maybe the guns and damage I'm not sure I'm going to buy it just because I'm a cod fan definitely things to improve but its a beta so I'm not worried ATM

IMO it feels just a little odd. I've been playing cold war sorta consistently prior to the beta and it feels like I'm playing a re-skinned mw2019. IK its the MW engine that was 'upgraded' but it doesn't feel right. On top of that, the maps could not be any worse. Just because they mirrored the maps doesn't mean they are 'balanced'. The hotel map is my best example of that. The guns feel nice and sound ok other than the STG. IDK im a huge BF fan so ill be waiting on that but this, ain't it.

One thing I hate is how it feels like I'm 250lbs running around in vanguard
