Okay so I decided to put an older PC back together for a friend but I cannot for the life of me remember where, on my motherboard to plug in the power and reset button cables. I also have two cables, each that end with 4 little connectors. The cables come from a panel at the front of the case where you can plug in different types of mini storage cards.
Please can someone take a look at my pictures and see if you can tell me. I have also included a link to the manual for my motherboard. https://i.postimg.cc/GHTz5n9Q/IMAG0444.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/5YtS5ZZ8/IMAG0445.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/hz3b22B6/IMAG0449.jpg Motherboard manual: download.asrock.com/Manual/H87%20Pro4.pdf Any help would be appreciated. |

Just realized too, the second picture shows the serial number for my EZKool computer case in case anyone knows where a manual can be obtained for that. Personally I couldn't find one. It is pretty old. |

Unfortunately we can't view your links due to your account being too new.
However I can speculate based on how most motherboards are designed. If you're looking at you motherboard head on, the lower /mid to right corner should have the place to connect to. Is normally labelled reset/power, make sure you connect them accordingly up/down, not left/right, hope that makes sense lol. |

Page 25 of the Manual, you'll find this image
You'll find this block of pins here If you look on the motherboard it will also tell you what connectors go to what. It's in very small writing but it's there. If you're wondering how to find the positive or the +, that'll be the connector with an up arrow on it. Again, small but it's on there. For the 2 card readers, I'd assume that's for USB. Here's a pinout Of which you can find on 16 & 17 |
