[Minimum post requirement for links]

After building this pc it came on once and wouldn't go back off with the power button and after turning it off it won't come back on with the button also tried jumpstarting the pc.
When putting a pin in the power supply the fan will come on and go right back off so maybe a Psu issue?
Puzzles me because it come on the first time and none after that

After taking out the cmos battery for 30 seconds and plugging it back in it will come on and won't go back off with the power button and after flipping the switch to turn it off and back on it won't come back on unless I take the battery out
My first build and this is very frustrating I don't understand why it would do that

Pull out all but 1 stick of RAM.

Ensure all connections are properly connected.

Attempt to boot

I tried the memory.
I can take out the battery for 5 minutes and hold down power button for 30 seconds then put the gpu back in and power on and get picture but I'm not able to turn the pc off with the power button and when turning it off I can turn it back on unless I take the battery back out

Also noting after resetting the cmos I can turn the pc and do whatever and also install windows.
Just can't turn it off with the button or turn it back on if I do turn it off

I would assume your power button isn't connected properly to your motherboard
