I'm sorry for your loss, I had to put my dog after being his bestfriend for 13 years. I knew it was better for me to end his suffering, just take care of yourself it's never easy.

This is always a hard thing man, you'll never forget him.

You should take comfort in knowing he knew you were with him in his last moments. I went through the same thing a few years back, and I'm glad I did. I'm happy he went to sleep in my arms instead of scared and alone while I was out or at work, you got to say goodbye to your best friend and that's something special.

I understand what you're going through man. Earlier this year in May we had to put my dog down because his kidneys were failing and he was miserable.

I miss him every day, and anyone who can just get a new dog right after losing theirs is a clown. Sorry for your loss and it gets better, I promise!

I'm sorry for your loss as well and yeah I don't even know if I would want to get another one I don't wanna move on but I love to help dogs animals are my weakness
