Here is a video on my MW3 Trinity that I converted from S-RGH to the new RGH 3.

I have also swapped in the Bootanim.xex from a blades/NXE console.

I also converted my GoW Slim to RGH 3 too yesterday

I have also converted a friends console that he was selling, the booting was quite slow on the old S-RGH install but not anymore (Yes I have cleaned the flux off)

What's the benefit of an RGH 3 over RGH 2?

Yes it is. It's still in beta but it only requires 2 wires and uses a small processor in the Southbridge to glitch the console. It's similar to JTAG but the console is glitched still. It's boot times are almost identical.

RGH 3 only requires 2 wires, no glitch chip, and gives instant boots every time, at least for the Slims. The PHATs aren't as reliable. I'm sticking with 1.2 until 3 becomes stable like the Slims, assuming that ever happens.
