SOLVED THE ISSUE. If anybody else is going through this issue:

1) Make sure to check where your Modern Warfare files are. (Battle.net app, click on cog next to the "Play Now" button, click on "Open on Explorer" or something of that nature).
2) Create a brand new folder with a name like "COD MW".
3) Cut and paste (or simply drag from one window to another) wherever your Modern Warfare files are and move them into the brand new "COD MW" folder you just made.
4) Close down the Battle.net app. Go to your Task Manager and then close down ALL processes relating to the Battle.net app.
5) Open up the Battle.net app once again and you'll see that your Warzone/MW game should say "Install now". DO NOT click on that button. Instead, go to your Battle.net app settings (top left corner) and go to the Downloads section and click "Scan for games".
6) Once it scans for games, you'll see that Warzone/MW should be found and added to your list of games.
7) Start the game up and see if it works.

WARNING: do not get excited if the game boots up and loads. Your game could still crash and continue to get the error. It happened to me with all the other methods that are on YouTube where the game would boot up and even install all drivers and then crash.

I found this method on literally the second link you get on Reddit once you write down the error code on Google. It actually worked and I've been able to load my game and play without crashing. If I can find the Reddit link, I'll make sure to link it since it's probably a better explanation.

Hello, need help with this. Last time this happened, I had to uninstall and re-install my Warzone game and I'm not doing that again so just looking for a solution.

I've been having this problem where Warzone or Modern Warfare (2019) won't open up and I'll get an error that says "There seems to be an issue with your files. Try again later." This happens either when trying to launch either of those games from the Blizzard app or whenever I try to launch either game from the Vanguard game's menu.

This is the exact message I get whenever I try to load one of those games: An error has occured while launching the game. Please check for updates or scan and repair to fix this issue.

I've already performed MULTIPLE scan and repairs and there's absolutely no updates available.

Oh yeah, Vanguard downloads and runs just fine with absolutely 0 issues. It's just the two other games. Any help? Been wanting to play Warzone and this issue just really pisses me off.

Thanks in advance!

I would delete everything related to warzone.
delete all the stuff in C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\Call of Duty Modern Warfare
delete all the files that were in the installation folder.
I would download ccleaner and clean up any temp files and stuff of that nature.

You know what's strange? I just managed to access the game and actually sit in the menu of Modern Warfare for 10-15 seconds before it crashed by opening the game directly from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare folder.

Billion dollar company, by the way. Thanks for the advice Netty, will delete and re-install this 180GB waste of $60 and time.

Bumping this again. I've now uninstalled and deleted Modern Warfare/Warzone from my computer, re-installed the game and the problem still continues...

Bumping for visibility. Found a solution that actually worked. Wrote it down on the top of the post and will link the Reddit post once I find the link.

If anybody else is going through this, well there ya go.
