What game made you want to start gaming when you were a kid or who got you into gaming?
I had a friend when I was 8 that played cod 4 all the time so that Christmas I got a 360 just to play cod 4 had so many hours on that game then continued to keep buying the new Cods.

I played my uncles N64 (Mario 64, PilotWings) and SNES (mainly mortal kombat) when I was 3 &4 but what really got me into gaming was getting my own N64 and Gameboy when I was 5. Grandma got me and my younger brother one as well as Pokemon red, blue and the trading card game for us. Got heavy into that, then played a lot of Ocarina of Time when it came out (zombies gave me nightmares). Had every system and would play a bunch when I wasn't in sports, started playing halo 2 online a lot then the 360 came out and that was that

Gameboys and 64s. Zelda, Pokmon, 007, and who knows what else. I was lucky enough to grow up in a small town that had a store ran by a lady that had a serious amount of 64 games as well! I started off with some of the greatest pieces, and now I have a PS4 lol

My dad brought home, one day, a Famicom - it's the Asian/Japanese market equivalent of the NES. The first game we had was Pac-Man and I was blown away by the colorful graphics and upbeat sounds lol.

It wasn't until the Sega Genesis and Sonic 2 that I realized I was into gaming for the long haul.

^ I also agree with the Game Boy replies above, pretty fantastic first foray into gaming! That thing had so many awesome games. From Metroid 2 to Kid Icarus and some of the Mario/Wario games. Good stuff!

I would probably say it started back in '03 when i played house of the dead for the first time on Dreamcast, after that it was just a spiral of games ranging from flash games off Miniclip to Runescape in '06.

I think the earliest memory i have of playing online games was my friends extremely confused on how i was able to play mw2 with legacy southpaw and lefty controls. I thought it was normal because prior i only played things like guitar hero/dj hero and racing games, i played little to no shooters except GTA.

Nowadays i just play whatever, i'm currently playing Lost ark, its been pretty fun so far.

I got a Nintendo GameCube for my 5th birthday, I played mariokart double dash, starfox assault, the legend of Zelda wind waker and a slew of other games. I was instantly hooked!
