Going with a 3-1 liverpool win on Wednesday. I think arsenal are a great team but they are still the youngest in the league and have a lot to learn.

Who are you with this youngest in the league spaff, jimmy saville?

I get it's a young team with a young manager blah blah blah but young talent is proving more and more each year to be better than tenure. Haaland, Mbappe, Bellingham, Wirtz, Vlahovic, Pedri, Ferran Torres, Gallagher, Martinez, Barella, Foden the list goes on. All world class in their 20s.

I see Arsenal fans defending every loss with "It's the youngest team in the league" yet scream "youngest team in the league" when you win.

Pundits say it, football twitter cretins say it, surely I can't be the only who couldn't care less about age in football. If you're a good player or not age doesn't play a factor. We've got Benzema and Lewa in their 30s defying all odds and then the likes of Haaland being goated before he's hit puberty it's such a fried excuse.

The only time age comes into football is when it comes to experience, when to go down, when to not, when to press etc etc.

Footballing ability has absolutely nothing to do with age because at this level you either have it or you don't.

Age certainly isn't a factor in the premier league. Most of the old guys are baws.

I'm 23 right, I couldn't do anything ESR or Saka can do and I've been playing the sport since I was 4. The prem is the toughest league in the world to a lot of people, for the youngest team in avg in the league to be sitting 4th right now is still very impressive. You can only congratulate them because they don't have the same experience players like Salah or Kane has. Like arsenal or hate them, it's still a massive accomplishment for these young players to be doing what they are doing

To play at that level has nothing to do with how long you've been playing. You are born a talented footballer

Was going to say exactly this but wasn't arsed in the end. If you've been playing football for 19 years and aren't very good the chances are the sport isn't for you. Very few players become good late on in their careers, Benzema wasn't amazing as a young player but look at him now.

Experience in football only helps with Composure, knowing when to take a dive, knowing how to command a team etc, it has nothing to do with technical ability. Kids are signed into academies as low as 5 years old if not younger they've had plenty of time to see if they're any good at the game before pro.

You can still be a great footballer without having natural raw talent theres been so many talented players that are clearly incredibly talented but they just dont give AF and dont put in the effort on the pitch and their craft to get better.
