I wish VAR was in all European matches, Rennes have been absolutely robbed. Terrible refereeing.

Who are you with this youngest in the league spaff, jimmy saville?

I get it's a young team with a young manager blah blah blah but young talent is proving more and more each year to be better than tenure. Haaland, Mbappe, Bellingham, Wirtz, Vlahovic, Pedri, Ferran Torres, Gallagher, Martinez, Barella, Foden the list goes on. All world class in their 20s.

I see Arsenal fans defending every loss with "It's the youngest team in the league" yet scream "youngest team in the league" when you win.

Pundits say it, football twitter cretins say it, surely I can't be the only who couldn't care less about age in football. If you're a good player or not age doesn't play a factor. We've got Benzema and Lewa in their 30s defying all odds and then the likes of Haaland being goated before he's hit puberty it's such a fried excuse.

I'm 23 right, I couldn't do anything ESR or Saka can do and I've been playing the sport since I was 4. The prem is the toughest league in the world to a lot of people, for the youngest team in avg in the league to be sitting 4th right now is still very impressive. You can only congratulate them because they don't have the same experience players like Salah or Kane has. Like arsenal or hate them, it's still a massive accomplishment for these young players to be doing what they are doing

To play at that level has nothing to do with how long you've been playing. You are born a talented footballer

Worst take I've ever heard. You are not born talented unless you are Lionel Messi. Ronaldo became good because of his work and determination and even he admits it.

Lmao of course he's gonna say that, we'll just forget he signed for Man Utd at the age of 18 and went on to win 3 titles before he was 23. He was born talented. Not saying everyone has to be born talented but CR7 is such a shit example.

Plenty of kids play football and really try to become pro because it's their life long dream. Look at academies and how many players actually make it out of these. How many are dropped at a young age.

For every one footballer that's worked hard to get where he is, plenty more are playing at a top level due to a gift they have.

Not all players are born talented. It takes an incredible amount of hard work and dedication. Giroud wasn't born gifted but he worked his ass off and he's one of the most underrated strikers ITW

Yikes man, think what u want bro, entitled to your opinion but i think you will find that 95% of footballers playing the europes top 6 are talented rather than worked their ass off

Even if what ur saying is right, I'd never agree. I feel like I'd be taking away what these players do everyday and week. It's not easy work and no one in this site could do it. It's hard. Hard work and all of them have it. Not just born with it

Understandable. I get what your saying but happy to agree to disagree brother. Not taking away the amount of work they do at all I get they work hard but you have to remember, players in the championship for example are training just as hard doing exactly the same stuff as these prem footballers but aren't as good. Just some food for thought.

Circumstances and environment matter too some players dont fit certain systems, certain positions or they just arent a good fit for the club.
