So I'm looking to build a new PC currently have £2,500 saved, I found this second hand one with a gtx 3070 and was wondering if it would be better to buy and upgrade rather than buy all the seperate parts

I'll be using the PC for gaming, media and graphics and I like to attempt to learn programming every now and then too

The second hand PC parts list is :

I7 9700KF
MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Gaming x Trio 8g Graphics Card
NZXT Kraken x53
2TB Seagate Barracuda
WD blue sn550 500gb nvme ssd
16gb 3200mhz Corsair Vengeance
Msi z390-a Pro motherboard
Corsair CX750M 750W
Corsair 220T Mid-Tower Gaming Case

(It is far better than my current pc set up)
My current PC was a pre built MSI:

1TB HDD
250gb SDD
i5 9400F
GTX 1050Ti
8GB ram

(MSI Infinite 9RB-677PL Core i5) which I'd probably be looking to turn into a home server or just upgrade in the future

With that amount of money to spend on pc, you'd be better of building your own and having security with warranty and everything being new.

I did the exact same thing saved $4500 to spend ended up building my own and nothing has broken to far but i've got warranty to cover everything

With graphics cards becoming more and more available, you'd be mad to spend £2.5k on a used PC which is based on the same CPU architecture that you're currently running. Only real upgrade there is the GPU which can be had For £600-£800

I'd say re-invest in your current setup IE take out what can be used in another PC and purchase hardware separately.

The second hand PC is only £900 I should have added that haha, but I was only really looking at it for the Ram, GPU and motherboard.
