Short Story:
Hello, I'm wanting to buy a resin printer off of a website that's not the "legit" website. If I don't receive a item / not the correct item can I get a refund through PayPal?


Long Story:
I'm looking to buy a new resin printer off the creality website, they are having a good sale currently but it ends today. The official site is

But the printer I want is out of stock. But, on the non official site
https://store.creality.com/?spm=..product.header_1.1&spm_prev=..product.nav_link_store_1.1
I am still able to purchase the printer for the discounted price. If that all makes sense. I bought my first FDM printer off a non official creality website and it showed up I believe in a good time frame. I didn't know back then their was unofficial sites so didn't even think about it. So say I pay for this printer and it never shows up... or maybe a printer shows up but its not the real one / not the same printer at all... will paypal refund the purchase still?

The easy answer is just to not buy it off the non-official site... and I'd save a lot more I guess just waiting and buying from the official site... but yeah...

Have you tried checking in any resin printing groups to see if anyones ordered from that store?

I've googled around a little bit. Good thinking though. Ill go make a reddit post asking for reviews.

EDIT: Found a reddit post asking same question. Added to that post. Then found a different site talking about it. Seems like mixed reviews. But also seems like people got their refunds when requested, or even got the product some soon and some a month or two out. Which kinda makes sense if they are taking orders with no product to ship.

It's virtually impossible to not get a refund from PayPal as a buyer.
Take the risk, and if it doesn't show up or anything is wrong, just dispute it.

There's a reason so many sellers, both legitimate and questionable hate PayPal, and it's because of the ease of refunding on the customer's end.
