As much of a rat richarlison is I actually feel bad for him you can tell he genuinely loves everton and is giving his all hes surrounded by shite.I know Walcott doesnt play for Everton anymore but the fact Arsenal got like 50M for him and Iwobi was highway robbery.

A very historical side though, I googled it last time they weren't in the top flight was 1950-51. Would be sad to see someone like that go tbh. Far more boring teams than Everton imho. The fact you'd be willing to lose them over a Southampton or a Brighton is crazy but it's your opinion so fair enough

History in football is important, but it literally is speaking history. Everton aren't a good side and haven't been for a good few years. The mersey isn't a derby where you wonder who'll win, it's a derby for what it was.
If they get relegated it's because they deserved to. Brighton is a far better team than everton. This season brighton have beaten spurs, arsenal and leicester. Have drawn against chelsea twice. They're a team that solely exists in the prem to banter the big 6.
I don't want to see them relegated personally, but they've looked like they deserve it this season.
