So I've worked on cars for a long time, as that is my occupation.. well we bought a 74 Gremlin and had to replace the front wheel clylinders and shoes.. before hand we had a pretty stiff pedal but when we went to try and bleed them, the pedal goes to the floor, none of the brakes are actually working but their is fluid coming from the bleeder valves. This car is really old for me but I figured it would be the same..? No brake booster or anything like that, tried vaccuum bleeding as well |

Double check your work you also may have to let it gravity bleed. Sounds like you have a lot of air in the system. I seen these happen before also double check all lines make sure one bleed one at a time start at the farthest point and bleed there first. Even though you only changed the front wheel cylinder. Could of pushed some rust back in to the line |
