I never thought I'd post a topic in here but here I am..

So over the past year, I've been getting into shape well attempting to anyway. I've gone from 95kg to 85kg without hitting the gym. I've just been dieting, walking and just going out more.

I've hit that plateau where I can't seem to drop any more weight. My ideal weight would be 76-79kg so not too far off relatively speaking.

My diet is pretty good, I hardly eat which will freak a lot of people out but I've always been like that. I just don't eat for the sake of eating, only lunch and dinner.

My goal is to cut out beer during weekdays as well as energy drinks and switch to coffee since, apparently, it's a much healthier way to get some energy.

Anyone else got any tips that they can throw my way to try and hit my goal. I'm trying to stay away from the gym purely because of the lack of motivation to do so but I know it'll be the best way to tone up and get rid of that final bit!

At the end of the day its calories in vs calories out.

If you eat less then your body is using (caloric deficit) you will lose weight. (Medical conditions aside)

I would try and meet your protein goal (usually about 0.6-0.8g of protein per lb). Upwards of 1.0-1.2g of protein if you want to build a lot of muscle for hypertrophy training or bodybuilding in general.

Then once you figure that out you can play with your other calories with what you get them from whether its fat, carbs or even more protein.

I would highly suggest start going to the gym as building muscle will help your overall physique and burn more calories unless you really dont care about how you look then by all means.

The hardest part is consistency. Keep going and don't stop. It took you years (probably) to get to the weight you're at now. Its not going to drop overnight.

Good luck OP always here if you have any questions.

Edit: Just saw you're stuck at your new weight. Good job ! So your body has whats called "maintenance calories" meaning the amount of calories your body uses for its daily needs.

Eventually your body will adjust its needs based on your new calories you set for it. In your case, lower calories because you were losing weight. However it comes to a point that once it adjusts to those calories you have to eat/burn even more calories to continue losing weight. So if you are stuck at a new low weight, you need to either eat less calories or burn more.

Whats your height and male/female if you don't mind me asking ?

This is going to sound contradictory but my coaches always told me this.

Eat MORE not LESS. Just eat the correct things. Don't eat more burgers and fries, but eat more chicken and lettuce. Don't skip meals because your body needs food for energy, it takes the food you eat and uses it for good. If you aren't putting food into your body, your body will essentially use itself to create energy if that makes sense. It'll build MORE fat. Eat your 3 meals a day and even some snack times in between but keep track of calories. Good snacks include things like Greek yogurt parfaits, fruit smoothies, veggies etc. If you put the healthy calories in your body, you'll feel so much better and you'll start to look better also. Nutrition is very important and has a huge factor on how you actually feel.

Hope this helps

Have a chicken salad 4 times a day bro, or fish/tuna etc. stay away from carbs if you do have carbs, look for carbs with low sugar and low fat. Eating more will actually help you faster as silly as it sounds. It's not the amount u eat so much as it's WHAT you eat. Forget gym den if you can't be asked but I would say do maybe 5 sets of 10-20 sits ups and push ups, pull ups if possible. This would help tone up abit. If u want more help we can chat on Discord if ur fr to see fast results.
