Holding my phone up and comparing your truck to mine I think its the wheels that makes it look different to me haha. We have the same truck but different color. I don't have the steps but besides that the wheels are the biggest difference. I've been thinking recently to try and paint them black but last time I did that (7ish years ago) It didn't turn out like how I planned haha. I'm having issues with my truck and I want to sell it so bad because of it. But if I just spend time and fix it Ill Love this truck I'm sure of it. Lifes just hard so planning is never fun lol.
EDIT: Whats up with the parking sensors? Do those work? I wonder if that's a easy install that would be pretty neat. EDIT:EDIT: Dang they are real and work haha I did not know that was a thing... can even buy a 8 pack for front sensors..... The rear would be crazy awesome since I don't currently have a back up camera.. |

Have you tried wheel paint? I did a set and they turned out really nice, I found a nicer set before I put those ones on though so I never got to test them haha. Getting them powdercoated isn't that expensive either. As long as they aren't chrome to start with you should be good, chrome is a huge pain to work with. My back up sensors came from the factory, replacing them is easy but I'm not sure about wiring them up. The back up cam is really easy, if you have a Edge Insight CTS 2 or 3, Edge also sells a license plate frame camera, all you do it plug it into your monitor and splice another wire into your reverse lights and you're good to go. When I got the new head unit I had them put in a camera that went to that though lol. |

Still not much going on, we just bought a house back in October so all my money goes there now lol. As for the truck it just keeps breaking so nothing shiny, just new boring parts. I broke the pitman arm some how, exploded a tie rod, one of a calipers seized, you know, standard Ford things. I wish I could say I was doing something fun but I'm just driving the truck normally lol. I did put a tad too much weight on the tailgate so hopefully a 2008+ tailgate will be on soon.

Dang lmao. I could scroll up but I dont think talked about mine... I messed up pretty bad. I have a 2003 f250 with a 05 motor swapped into it. Bunch of whatever done to it. But the egr delete was leaking coolant when I got it now over a year ago. I started taking it apart... over a year ago...... its still in parts. I am finally done disassembling now tho. have the intake manifold off and have the delete off. Just need to put it all back together but I'm afraid I waited too long and I'm not gonna know how to put it back together. I just want it gone so bad at this point lmao. I have my two kids tho (3y and 8mo) so I come home from work and hang out with the family and just never have energy / motivation to go and get it done... one day Ill get it fired back up. |
