Minecraft Survival Server

I have had this server running for 1-2 weeks now and initially I just set it up so that a few of us could play. We have now decided that it would be nice if we had more people playing which is why I have made this post. The server supports both Java and Bedrock which makes it accessible to anyone that owns a copy of Minecraft. The survival experience on the server is mostly vanilla with a few additions however those are minor quality of life improvements (see below). If you have any issues, feel free to contact me via TTG PM System or Discord.

I will keep the server running as long as people keep playing on it. I will also announce any expected downtime on this thread so that you are aware and don't risk losing items etc. The only downtime expected currently happens once per month which is when I migrate the server files to a new location and create a backup to prevent data loss.

If you decide to join the server, make sure to let me know who you are so that I can set your name accordingly. You can also request to have a colourful name, just tell me which colour(s) you want and where you want them.

Features & Commands

Only 25% of players need to sleep in order to skip the night.

/spawn - Teleports you to the world spawn point.
/sethome - Sets your player home to your current coordinates.
/home - Teleports you to your current home.
/delhome - Deletes your home.
/claim - Claims a 11 x 11 area of land from where you are standing (also claims 5 blocks deep by default).
/unclaim or /abandonclaim - Removes your claim from the land that you are currently stood on.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the server list and click/press on the "Add Server" button.
4. Enter the details provided above and hit "Play".

How to join (Console)

1. Open Minecraft.
2. Download the BedrockTogether app on your phone/tablet.

iOS App - Android App

3. Open the BedrockTogether app and press "Ok" on the pop-up which asks to "find and connect to devices on your local network".
4. Enter the details provided above and press "Run".
5. Navigate to the "Friends" tab on Minecraft and you should see the server in the "LAN Games" section.
6. Click/press on the "BedrockTogether" listing and you will be loaded into the server.

Note: Your phone/tablet MUST be connected to the same network when using BedrockTogether for it to work since that is how the devices communicate with each other. BedrockTogether runs a local server which then transfers you to the server specified in the app.

Have you thought about custom items addons via geyser?
They have a few methods to get resource packs containing custom items / textures onto bedrock and java

I used to run a small geyser server for me and a few people on console. But that was when it was new and a bit buggy

I just wanted to make it so that anyone could join the server no matter what platform they were on. The server was originally made so that me and a few friends could play and one of them played on bedrock so I added bedrock support using geyser and floodgate. Everything seems to run smoothly for the most part and ideally I want to keep the server as vanilla as possible with the addition of a few quality of life commands which I was able to add without any issues.
