Hey guys I'm currently on a 6900XT 5600X Asus PRIME B550 Corsair HX850W and some poo poo DDR4 3200 Ram
I've recently got hold of a Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 Trinity I was looking for suggestions on a new CPU DDR5 ram kit and a motherboard that support DDR5 obviously. Any help would be very much appreciated Thanks in advance PS will I need to upgrade my power supply too? Edit will be gifting gold to whoever's build I like the best |

What's your current PSU?
Edit: Nvm just noticed the 850w. I'd say that's enough. |

Intel have the i9 13th gens coming out in October which could be worth the wait since you have a 4090.
Otherwise, the new Ryzen CPU's slap: PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 4.7 GHz 12-Core Processor (£479.99 @ Amazon UK) Motherboard: Asus PRIME X670-P ATX AM5 Motherboard (£260.82 @ Technextday) Memory: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory (£228.84 @ Newegg UK) Power Supply: Corsair RM1000x (2021) 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (£159.99 @ CCL Computers) Total: £1129.64 You may well be able to get away with an 850w power supply, just depending on what you play and the load of what its under, but it's better to be certain it'll be fine, and get a more powerful one - you can probably sell yours within the same somewhat region as a new one. The motherboard would look nice with the 4090 as it also has the matching silver accents so you could make the system internally look nice if you got some white braided cables etc. |

Vexaah wrote Intel have the i9 13th gens coming out in October which could be worth the wait since you have a 4090. I wouldn't squeeze on the 850w side especially if he ever plans to overclock. Otherwise this is the only actual advice for the topic at hand here. +gold. |
