I don't plan on playing the latest releases but some fairly new games like FH5 etc and want to be somewhat future proof for a few years.

I also plan to do other things with this system. Like some video editing etc

The Build

I would make a few tweaks, but I need more information really.

What monitor(s) will you be using with this system?
What exactly will the system be used for? If gaming, what games? If video editing, what sort of programs will you be using and to what extent? Are you looking for NVidia specific GPU to make use of CUDA?
What's the need for a 4TB SSD and 10TB HDD? Do you need 15TB of storage, and does 5TB of that need to be SSD's?
Do you really need the optical drives lol?

Monitors - 2x BenQ MOBIUZ EX2710Q

It's a kind of all in one machine. So games, video editing, media consumption, console modding etc.

Games would be mostly Forza, Grand Theft Auto. But would extend to other games. Not necessarily the latest releases but some.

The 4TB SSD is for games. Just want to ensure plenty of storage for future releases, and with the way game sizes are.

The 10TB is for local storage. As you know I do 360 modding. So need storage for games to be kept locally (for my use only), consoles files etc. Also I want to get more into video creation this year. So need the space for video files to be kept locally, before being uploaded to the cloud once complete.

I don't have Adobe or anything. Currently using an open source program called ShotCut. But I may go to Adobe if it will improve productivity and work flow and if I require it.

The optical drives are for any physical media. I have a lot of blurays and DVDs. I'm trying to make copies of them to have on portable devices. I know I could have external ones. Just personal preference to go internal. The 2nd optical (dvd only) is just a filler as I have one here to go in.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 3.7 GHz 12-Core Processor (£343.49 @ Amazon UK)
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 280 A-RGB 68.9 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler (£112.06 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard (£152.94 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory (£96.99 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Kingston Fury Renegade 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive (£95.54 @ Box Limited)
Storage: Crucial P3 4 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive (£247.63 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Seagate BarraCuda Pro 10 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive (£213.07 @ Amazon UK)
Video Card: Palit GamingPro GeForce RTX 3080 10GB 10 GB Video Card (£699.99 @ CCL Computers)
Case: Fractal Design Pop XL Air ATX Full Tower Case (£113.99 @ Amazon UK)
Power Supply: be quiet! Pure Power 11 FM 750 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (£92.99 @ Technextday)
Total: £2168.69

Keep an eye on the B550 Strix mobo's. Strix B550-A and Strix B550-F are both good options, just get whichever is cheapest when you're buying. You could step up to the Wi-Fi board for an extra 10-20 quid. If you can spend the extra, it might not be a bad shout stepping up to an X570 motherboard, but any of the Strix B550's will do fine.

Changed CPU cooler and RAM slightly. Swapped to a cheaper 10TB HDD. Get the more expensive one if you want/need. I couldn't justify spending that much on an HDD unless I REALLY needed to, so I would maybe just make sure you really need that 10TB lol. Swapped the 4TB SSD for something better and cheaper.

Add your 2 optical drives if you want. No need to buy additional case fans, the Pop XL Air comes with plenty.

The RTX 3080 is a bit of a placeholder here really. What I would really be doing right now, is either just saving money and buying an RX 6800/6800XT, or try to get my hands on an RTX 4070Ti. 3070Ti/3080 for 700 quid doesn't really feel worth it IMO.

Thank You so much for your input. I have changed the case to a mid tower as I don't have the space for a full tower.

Overall pretty good, here is some of the changes I'd personally make
Ram: get a 3600 16CL kit. 32gb or 64gb depending on what you do. No need to necessarily go above 32, but I can say I noticed a difference and I have a 5950x
Main M.2: Personally I would rock a Samsung 980 or 990 pro for your boot drive, and make sure you partition a good lil bit off to help with the life of the drive.
OS: Don't spend $100 on a windows key, can get them cheap legally from a lot of places.
