My brother got a upgrade for Christmas and he was going to give me his old SSD because I only have a 120GB SSD sadly and the one he gave me is a 240GB just wanting a little bit of extra storage. I was just curious if there's a way to clone that way I don't have to do a fresh install. |

I'd recommend doing the fresh install over a clone for performance reasons. If you current OS install has been around for a bit, the machine will probably get a good performance boost by having the fresh install. |

While you're at try to setup windows on an offline account and watch some youtube videos like decrapify w10/11 installs from craft computing |

You can utilize Clonezilla. Throw it on a USB and plug in both drives then boot to the USB. clonezilla.org/
You should be able to extend the partition on the new drive in clonezilla as it will only show 120GB of free space after the clone. You can also use gparted if the partition doesn't extend, works the same way as clonezilla. |
