The only people that believe that cures are being withheld for profit are edgy teenagers. But it seems like some people haven't outgrown that lmao. There hasn't been any substantial evidence to prove that exists.
The reason why you see "breakthroughs" and new treatments fall short is because most of those articles are misleading and sensationalized. Breakthroughs are a small step. Trials and testing takes years.
