hi, i get a notification when i play call of duty modern warfare 2. this message only comes up when i play warzone. i get a high disk usage warning but my game does not lag or seem to struggle and my pc temps on all parts are around 50 degrees. i play on high settings as my pc is more than capable.
just want to understand what is causing this issue when i play other games there is no problems and what can i do to stop this high disk usage as i don't understand what it is. thanks

AFAIK, Windows shouldn't warn you about high disk usage so this will be some sort of third party software that's doing this.

As to why, the game assets are stored on your SSD's. When you're in a game, your PC will move some of these assets to RAM to make the asset loading quicker. It's totally normal behaviour, though I've never seen a notification for it.

its through my anti virus protection that gives me the warning, should i just close the anti virus application when gaming?

Just uninstall the AV. Windows Defender will sort you out which is built into Windows

I second this. Been downloading dodgy things for years and never had an AV other than Windows Defender! They just seem to get in the way...

+1 to the statements above about uninstalling AV. Never ran a paid and/or 3rd party AV once in my life and I've done some pretty shady shiz. Just being smart and knowing to take precautions is adequate 99% of the time.
