What is your budget and currency? Anywhere from 800 - 1300$

What will you use the PC for? Gaming and maybe streaming, graphics aren't a huge thing for me. I really care about the refresh rate or how high i can make the FPS. I mainly play shooters, nothing like Skyrim with 1000+ gfx mods

Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using? Possibly and 2nd monitor, i have a asus vg248 currently that i use to play console on. The other one could be a better one for gaming

Do you need a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals? I'm a controller player, I highly doubt ill ever use kbm. If anything I'd probably use it for work.

Do you need an operating system? Like windows? Sorry not super familiar, this would be a brand new build to someone that has only ever owned a laptop from 2014

Anything else we should know? Nothing i can think of

I'd probably be building something along the lines of this with that budget;

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 3.4 GHz 8-Core Processor ($193.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 50.5 CFM CPU Cooler ($89.90 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard ($168.99 @ B&H)
Memory: TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory ($60.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Sabrent Rocket Q4 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive ($129.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB Video Card ($359.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Fractal Design Pop Air ATX Mid Tower Case ($89.99 @ B&H)
Power Supply: Corsair RM750e 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($99.99 @ Best Buy)
Total: $1193.83

Maybe step the GPU up to a 6800XT or something if you can with the extra budget. Or step the CPU up to a 5800X3D.

Oh, and buy a cheap kb+mouse combo, should be able to get something decent for $30-35. You'll need them but if you're going to be playing with controller anyway then just spend as little as possible on a kb+mouse.

Use Win10 or Win11 for free for now. You can always buy a key to activate it later if you really want but you don't need to.
