Power surge: If there was a power surge during the outage, it could have damaged the power supply or other components of your monitors. Power surges can occur when the electricity supply is abruptly interrupted and then restored. Surge protectors are designed to absorb and redirect excess voltage, but they may not provide complete protection in all cases.

Power supply failure: Monitors have their own internal power supply units (PSUs). If the surge or electrical disturbance was severe, it could have damaged the PSU, resulting in the monitors not receiving power.

Connectivity issues: Check all the connections between your monitors and the power outlets, surge protectors, and computer. Ensure that all cables are securely plugged in and that there are no visible signs of damage.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can try the following steps:

Test the monitors on a different power outlet: Plug the monitors into a different outlet or power source to rule out any issues with the current outlet.

Try a different power cable: If possible, use a known working power cable and connect it to the monitors to see if they power on.

Reset the monitors: Some monitors have a reset button or a specific key combination to perform a reset. Refer to the monitor's manual or manufacturer's website to find instructions for resetting your specific model.

Check for visible damage: Inspect the power cables, connectors, and the monitors themselves for any signs of physical damage like burnt smells, scorch marks, or loose connections.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's possible that the monitors have indeed been damaged during the power outage.
