Deles interview was a tough watch, never wanted him out of the club even when his form dropped but it all makes sense now.

Buzzing to see Ramsey back at Cardiff, shame he had to pull on the Assna jersey but once a bluebird always a bluebird.

Might not be a spurs fan til mid Jan this year, Should be just outside relegation by then.

Do u have no faith in ange? Genuine question no judgement. Just intrigued to know the answer. I was the same when he came to Celtic, had to eat my words lol. I understand it's a step up but if he can implement his system well you might end up being pleasantly surprised. I dislike Spurs personally but not anymore than the majority of the prem teams. I do hope he doesn't fail though so will defo be looking at the results. Good luck for the season starting

Honestly i have all the faith in him, after watching the pre-season game against WHU today his attacking style is so fun to watch and after the last two 5 back rat managers we've had i can't wait to watch his football.

My honest impression was that the current spanners we have wouldn't be able to play this type of football. But i've literally eaten my words within 24 hours. Pre-season isn't always much to go on but Udogie, Perisic and a couple others thrived under this style of play today.

I don't really see how his support of the LGBT community should affect his move to Saudi, nor that it says anything about him. He can still support the community, hate the Saudi regime and be a decent bloke while working there.

I would consider working in the gulf one day, yet I'm an anti-monarchist, opposer of capital punishment and honour killings, staunch supporter of individual liberty & freedom of speech, hold little interest in lavish living, against any form of discrimination, nice to people regardless of their gender and consider the concept of child jockey's is disgraceful. By working on the Arabian peninsula, I wouldn't be changing my viewpoint on any of these issues, nor endorsing them simply by benefitting from the stupid money pouring out of a crooks pores. Neither my going there, nor my remaining in a free country, is going to change the situation. Of course, I'm not famous nor considered a role model to thousands of people, but I don't see how his manipulation of these oil oligarchs betrays his views. Nobody claims that players of Man City, Newcastle or PSG (literally owned by Gulf states) are incapable of holding values by being directly paid by these nations.

(I did in fact read it)

So if we take your perspective of, you're 100% against the religious traditions and practices of the whole nation in regards to sexuality and human rights issues. But you would consider working in said country as you would still maintain the same opposing beliefs because integrity overrules selling out.

It's akin to me being against the child labour laws in poorer countries, being offered a fancy new house and a well paid Job to run a factory where young boys and girls are making products for 2 cents an hour but saying it's fine tho, cause while i'm here i'll occasionally mention that i'm against it so i still have my moral high ground and can still get paid.

That is the exact issue with the transfer, if his mindset was 'This is totally fine because I can still promote my LGBTQ+ narratives in a country that's ingrained discrimination into its culture so then i'm actually a martyr and the world will love me for it' and then proceeds to collect a 3 quarter of a million oil money pay check every week.

You insinuating that he's taken this transfer opportunity to stick it to the saudis and rob them of just shy of 10 mil a year is blatantly ridiculous. 10 Mil to this lot is equivalent to what you spend in the bookies on a three legged horse.

To be an advocate and role model to young kids around the world a year ago, and now be that dusty baller who took the retirement deal of a lifetime just to continue to spread a message to a country that doesn't want to listen and then he can shrug and say awh well 700gs babyyyyyyy. If he does intend on pushing the same narratives then he's going against the fan base of the club and the only person he's sticking it to is himself.
