you probably want to paint the block white or silver so you can easily identify leaks

Black is a sleek color for the block but one thing that black paint has made difficult is finding small leaks when they appear. Orange is kinda main stream for the Chevy small blocks and hemis. A deep Purple would be sweet with it not being to dark that you can find leaks f need be

I'd personally go for white. Everyone chooses red or blue. White just seems to be lesser. I personally love Black and white.
